Walt- I am learning to write an explanation. SC: Double Check Making Sense Title:How the key competencies help us to become successful learners 5 key competencies are thing student need to improve and be successful.The 5 things are Managing Self,Using Text Symbols,Relating to others and Participating and Contributing. Managing Self: is challenging it’s one of the thing all ages struggle with.All students need this because student are getting worse and injurings are happening. Using Text Symbols: Is what all good writers do . Using Text Symbol is what every student needs to improve and be in the national standard.Also it helps you with many other writing for an example explanation,narrative,recount and speeches. Relating: to others is alike alke is what two person got in common.It’s also having a talk going outside for a game .There are many things you can do to relate to others like being good friends. Participating and Contributing:Is joining a company ,community or a group. Participating is being include in every single thing a group of student,workers and teachers does. The 5 key competencies teach us a lot and how to become successful learners .These 5 things can and will change life.

Walt-We are learning difference ways to begin our story Have you ever wished you had a day of rest ? On Mondays to Fridays us students from the age of 5 to 13 year olds go to School learning knowledge and skills. While walking to School, my face is up and my brain is thinking.At school we do math,writing.reading ,grammar,cyber smart and inquiry. Math: It’s challenging and difficult using different strategies, fractions , percentage and decimal.There are many strategies for math for an example making tens ,place value,algorithm ,tidy number ,rounding and compensating and doubles and halves.Math is fun in different ways for gaming website I found studyladder ,prodigy and sumdog. Reading :After going outside playing games we go back to our class reading books to keep us calm and relaxed .Reading is a subject that is important because people can read but can’t understand the story.In Glen Innes School we have a few volunteers coming in helping those who are in need for reading.Authors Purpose is part of reading and writing. PIe P is for persuade I is Inform E is for entertaining. Writing: Writing is big. there are many types of writing for an example report,information,facts,entertaining story.
